Arthur Adamyan

Arthur Adamyan was born in Yerevan. He graduated from Music School after P. Tchaikovsky and continued his study in the department of organ and piano at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. After completing his education with distinction, he entered the post-graduate studies of the Conservatory and improved his skills in the organ class.

Starting from 1968, he has been performing in concerts actively. He toured to the United States, Canada, Japan, Greece, Bulgaria and the throughout CIS countries as a soloist with various orchestras. For many years, he has cooperated with Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Arthur Adamyan has participated in numerous festivals of organ and chamber music dedicated to J. S. Bach. He is the first performer of works for organ of several Armenian composers. Arthur Adamyan is the author of organ transmissions of numerous specimens of Armenian medieval monоdic music. Some of Arthur Adamyans’ students are laureates of local and international music contests.
